Ah 2020.
The year everyone gave a bad rap.
Sure, COVID-19 threw a wrench in things (i.e. like having to reschedule a wedding) but there were some really great things that happened too.
So I hope you’re taking the time to reflect on the good that came out of this year before you look towards next year.
On this final day of the year, I’m reflecting on the top 4 things that came out of 2020. Hope you enjoy!
1. I married my best friend on July 24, 2020!
2020 gave the Farm Guy Next Door a little extra time to make a run for it, but he still stuck around! We might always celebrate an honorary anniversary on 4/4. 🙂
2. I launched an online course, Cash Grain Marketing 101!
This had been a goal of mine for over a year, but I kept pushing off the launch and revamping the content. I kept waiting for the ‘right’ time. But is there ever really a right time? The answer: No.
So I urge you – go, do something in 2021 that you’ve been putting off. Don’t worry about the time being ‘right.’
3. I was highlighted in Successful Farming‘s December edition & interviewed on the Ag News Daily podcast!
Two of my favorite Ag news outlets featured me this year? Someone pinch me so I know it’s actually true.
4. I took a leap of faith.
It’s not easy to leave the comfort of the corporate world. But hey, I’m a full blown entrepreneur now and I’m pretty sure this is exactly what I was meant to do. In addition to Farm Girl Next Door and having my real estate license with Nebraska Realty, I’m co-founding a company with a couple of great people I worked with previously. There are big, exciting things coming in 2021!
Wishing you a prosperous 2021 full of personal development, renewed energy and focus, and time spent doing the things you enjoy!
